Hitting a crossroad can be a challenge, wether it’s because of work, love or life in general. You suddenly have to make a life changing decision, that can have a lot of consequences. Not only for yourself, but for others as well. Your decisions can influence other peoples choices in life too. Amazing when you come to think about it. We are all in some way connected and we inspire the people surrounding us, every day, without knowing it, and sometimes without them knowing it.

I always feel kind of numb when i am in between new chapters of my life.. Today i feel that way. I know a lot of good things are coming my way, but right now, in this moment, i feel numb and restless at the same time. Maybe it is because i can’t wait for what’s to come. Maybe it’s because i can’t let go. Anyway.. This feeling is so heavy, and is killing my motivation. So in stead of feeling vibrant and on top of things, i just feel like laying around at home, watching Netflix and being lazy. And as i am laying there, i can’t help but think about how i am waisting my life. And as if that wasn’t enough, my attitude reflects on the people i surround myself with. Kind of like a smile that is contagious – so is a bad/ lazy attitude.

To pull myself out of these emotions, I often tend to seek new ways to get inspiration and motivation. I find a lot of new inspiration by going on a spontaneous road trip, being artistic or by listening to music. And by music i mean music that portraits either what i am going through at the moment, or what i am striving to become. Music for the soul. Right now i have one song stuck in my head, that get’s me out of the sweats and into an actual outfit every morning.

Each day is a new beginning. You can start fresh, anticipating what today will bring. Or you can just settle for yesterday’s doubts, fears, or worries. Every day you can strive to become your better self, or you can dwell in the thoughts of what you want to achieve. Which road will you take? Do you take the path to the clear present or the the shadows of the past?

“People who believe they have the power to exercise some measure of control over their lives

are healthier, more effective and more successful

than those who lack faith in their ability to effect changes in their lives.”

– Albert Bandura

What do you do when you hit a crossroad in life? Let me know 🙂
